The joint research group between the Helmholtz Zentrum Berlin für Materialien und Energie and the AG Eisebitt at the TU Berlin focusses on the investigation of the electronic and geometric structure in nanomaterials. Insight into the structure-function relationship at the nanoscale enables new routes to the knowledge based design of functional nanomaterials.
