Nonlinear Optics on Nanostructures
Our research is focused on the understanding of optical properties of semiconductor nanostructures and their assemblies. Our studies of quantum dots and nanocrystals aim at controlling the fundamental electronic properties towards applications in photonic and optoelectronic devices. The experimental methods we use are e.g. pump-probe spectroscopy, four-wave mixing and conventional linear spectroscopy with high spectral, spatial and temporal resolution.
